The article provides a holistic theoretical and methodological comprehension of the intrapersonal dimension of tolerance as a super-complex phenomenon that transcends the boundaries of its traditional interpretation as a socially directed attitude and emerges as a fundamental way of sensory-meaningful organization of the personality’s Dasein (here-being). The importance of conceptual differentiation of self-tolerance as a specific intrapsychic phenomenon is substantiated, which ensures viable integration of contradictory components of experience and dynamic maintenance of the architectonic integrity of an individual’s Self. It is proved that self-tolerance is not a derivative of general tolerance but possesses an autonomous ontological status as an independent regulatory mechanism that enables the act-based (vchinkova) containment of tension between different modalities of the Self without their destructive reduction or alienation. The dialogic relationship between self-tolerance and the phenomenon of self-acceptance is revealed, the latter being interpreted as a basic existential presumption of the integration of the personal world; at the same time, their functional differentiation is clarified, where self-tolerance acts as a tool for transforming internal contradiction into a strategic resource for self-knowledge and self-actualization of a person as a performing individuality. The conceptualization of this psycho-spiritual formation is implemented through the construction of a structural-functional model that represents it as an integrative regulator of personal organization, whose functioning is ensured by the synergetic interaction of self-acceptance, reflexive self-communication, act-based self-regulation, and processes of self-identification. It is shown that their systemic interaction enables the preservation of the personality’s integral wholeness under conditions of its immanent heterogeneity and existential dynamism. It is summarized that self-tolerance emerges as a decisive factor in the self-development of the personality, which determines its capacity for the sensory-meaningful coordination of experience, maintenance of inner authenticity, and full-blooded self-realization within the shifting socio-cultural coordinates of the modern world.
