AI Use Policy

The journal adheres to the Recommendations on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Scholarly Communication developed by the European Association of Science Editors and considers artificial intelligence as a supportive tool for researchers. The results obtained through the use of AI must be verified and interpreted in accordance with the principles of academic integrity, given the generative nature of AI. Authors are required to declare any use of AI. Upon manuscript submission, a separate file - Author’s Declaration on the Use of AI - must be provided; its edited content is published at the end of the article before the references. Acceptable statements include a description of the manner and purpose of AI use (see example) or “Artificial intelligence was not used in the preparation of this article.” The use of AI for language editing does not require declaration. When AI is employed as a methodological tool, the manner of its use must be specified in the Methods section. In accordance with the Recommendations on the Use of Artificial Intelligence in Scholarly Communication, this is permissible for literature review (without using AI as a primary source), data collection, analysis and interpretation (with disclosure of reliability and reproducibility), data or code generation, and results visualization.
