Based on the author’s integrative model of personality 12 phases of personal growth were identified and described. These phases were combined in three stages: adaptation, self-actualization and transcendence. Patterns of development of the process of personal growth as a whole are described. In particular, alternation of periods of extraversion and introversion is educed, general regularities in the processes of personal growth and ontogenetic development are found out. The connection between regularities of personal growth and actual needs of individual is pointed. The questions related to diagnostics and facilitation of personality growth are discussed briefly.
